Wisconsin Collaborative Insurance Company (WCIC) is a joint venture between Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield (Anthem) and Aurora Health Care (Aurora).

What is Well Priority?

Well Priority is new POS product being offered by WCIC. Through the Well Priority product, Anthem and Aurora are working hand in hand to further improve value, enhance efficiency and quality, and simplify the overall care experience.

When will Well Priority be available?

Sales will begin in mid-2016, with most new group plans starting January 1, 2017

Well Priority allows Anthem and Aurora to streamline processes and share best practices to more quickly achieve our shared vision of a patient-centered health care experience.

This new joint venture combines the expertise of Anthem and Aurora to benefit Wisconsin businesses and improve health.

Does Coverage Travel with members?

When traveling outside of Wisconsin, Well Priority members can see Blue Cross and Blue Shield network providers at in-network rates and benefit levels though the BlueCard Program1.

Where can Well Priority members receive care?

The Well Priority product uses Anthem’s Blue Priority network, which includes not only all of Aurora’s providers, hospitals and clinics, but also health care systems which routinely rank as the most efficient and highest quality in the state of Wisconsin.
